Icelandic Bus Stops

While travelling the Route 1, a national road that runs all around the country, I noticed that in every region of Iceland the bus stops were designed differently. It made me think about the Western desire for individualism, to mark ones-self out as different to everybody else, even in the design of such a utilitarian public structure.
