Underlying

‘Underlying’ is a series of images that examine my personal reality as a designated vulnerable person during the Covid-19 pandemic.

After finding myself stranded in a holiday villa in Southern Spain I decided to turn my camera on myself, using the alien environment around me to explore my physical vulnerabilities I usually seek to hide. The project intersects a running conversation with my worried Mum, with photographs of myself and my surroundings.
